Christ Church Greenwich offers many ways to customize your giving. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by the
Internal Revenue Code. Christ Church Greenwich is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a Federal Tax ID number of
06-0653266. Please always notify the Stewardship Office of your gift.

Online by Credit Card
Online donations are quick and easy. You can make a one-time donation or set up a recurring payment that automatically transfers weekly, monthly, or quarterly. Click here to do so.

Check
Checks can be made payable to Christ Church Greenwich. Please note its purpose in the memo, for example: Annual Appeal, Capital Campaign, or Flower Fund. Checks can be placed in the plate during worship services or mailed to Christ Church.

Donor Advised Fund
A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is a philanthropic giving vehicle that functions like a charitable savings account. It allows you to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction, and recommend grants from your fund immediately or over time. You can fulfill your pledge or make a direct donation using a DAF. Checks from your DAF may be mailed directly to Christ Church.

Gift of Securities
You may donate appreciated stocks, bonds, and mutual fund shares to Christ Church Greenwich. The total value of the securities upon transfer is tax-deductible, and there is no obligation to pay capital gains taxes on the appreciation. To get started, complete the Securities Transfer Form.

From your IRA
If you are 70½ or older, you can donate up to $111,000 per tax year from your individual retirement account (IRA) directly to Christ Church Greenwich. For more information, please contact your IRA administrator or contact George Belshaw.

Matching Gifts
Christ Church can receive matching gifts from your employer. If your employer does not match contributions to religious organizations, you may make your donation to the Greenwich Heritage Foundation, which makes your gift eligible for matching. For more information, email George Belshaw.

Planned Giving
Arranging a legacy gift is often part of the will and estate planning process, in which we communicate our wishes and allocate our final assets to our families, executors/trustees, and favorite charitable organizations. Private Foundations
Christ Church accepts donations from private foundations. Checks from your foundation may be mailed directly to Christ Church.
