Are You Struggling to Find God in These Tumultuous Times?
You are Not Alone.
Many people are scared, angry, and worried about jobs, healthcare, and housing. Some are struggling to find where God is in all of this. Join us Thursdays at 11:30 am for “Praying Together in Extraordinary Times.” We will pray silently or aloud for the concerns in our parish, community, nation, and the World. All are welcome. Even when God feels far away, let us pray together.
Walking with God through Life's Changes
Thursdays | 5:00 - 6:30 pm | Dogwood Mezzanine
If you are going through a significant change in your life, whether it is a job loss, divorce, empty nest, etc., come talk it through with this supporting group. Together, we'll explore faith-based strategies, share personal experiences, and find ways to support and help each other through life's challenging changes.

Want to get involved with Christ Church Cares? Here is what we offer:

Community of Hope
A pastoral care training program for lay visitors who tend to the sick and those in need of healing. After the training, we meet once a month for “Circle of Care.”

Christ Church Cares Visitors
Visit people in their homes, rehab, and various care facilities in and around Greenwich once a month.

Lay Eucharistic Visitors
Bring communion to people who are homebound, in rehab or nursing facilities that are unable to attend Church to receive communion.

Greenwich Hospital Visitors
Visitors are trained through the Spiritual Services department at the hospital. Visit patients 2x a month.

Caring Cards
Volunteer to send cards to those recovering and in need of prayers.

Prison Ministry
Visit inmates at Danbury Prison on an ongoing basis. Participants are required to go through a training period.

Treat Boxes
Baked goods brought to those who are sick, homebound, recovering from an illness, or celebrating a new baby.

Care Notes & Prayer Cards
Care notes and prayer request cards available for anyone who may need them located at the bottom of the steps in front of the parish office.

Intercessory Prayer Email List
Ongoing email prayer list of those who are sick, in trouble, and in need of healing.

Walking with God through Life's Changes
Open to anyone going through a time of transition and/or change. Join us every Thursday at 5:30 pm.

Call “Check in” Team
Parishioners call to check in, say hello, and see how people who are on our intercessory prayer list are doing.

Angel Meals & Flowers
Bring prepared meals to those who are sick, homebound, have a new family member at home, or are just out of rehab… sent with love and prayers. We also deliver flowers from our Sunday Service!

“Praying Together”
Come to pray for those on our prayer list, and for the needs of our community, country, and our World. Meet in the Church for 30-min every thursdays at 11:30 am.

Nathaniel Witherell Services
A lay led service of communion for the residents of Nathaniel Witherell on Sundays.

Riverhouse
Morning Prayer is held twice a month for the day residents of Riverhouse.

“Caregivers Connect"
Support group for those caring for someone at home. We meet via Zoom on the first Tuesday of the month at 5:30 pm.
