NELSON FITTS
VESTRY CLASS OF 2024

Nelson and his family joined Christ Church Greenwich after moving to Greenwich from Larchmont, New York in 2017. He is a member of the Christ Church Singers and serves on the parish’s Audit Committee. Nelson and his wife Elizabeth grew up in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and their daughters Evelyn and Alice are both choristers in the St. Cecilia Choir of Girls. Nelson is partner at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in New York City, focusing on antitrust aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and takeover defense in a broad range of industries. He studied American history at Princeton University and law at Columbia Law School. He is a trustee of the Vera Institute of Justice in New York and Woodberry Forest School in Virginia.
