We founded KINDRED SPIRITS to provide more fellowship, peer support, and personal growth opportunities for single men and women 50+.

In fact, adults 50+ are the fastest growing demographic in the U.S. Not surprisingly, the divorce rate is highest for adults 50+ and the number of adults suffering the death of a spouse skyrockets after age 65.

But there’s good news, too! Adults 50+ are redefining what it means to grow older. Many of us are living longer, healthier, and more active lives than previous generations. And while life always holds challenges, many 50+ singles are starting whole “new chapters” and looking for ways to reinvigorate their lives. And we’re here to help!

First, we are a Christian-based community of KINDRED SPIRITS, united by our core values of love, kindness, and respect for each other.

Second, we serve the needs of all singles 50+ who share our core values. We seek to provide a safe and welcoming haven for single adults in mid/late life who are searching for more authentic social connections through activities that foster genuine fellowship and community.

Thirdly, we offer a holistic approach. Our members get to know each other in person, over time, through a variety of regular social activities. from meetups at popular social and entertainment venues to regular hosted events to outreach activities.

Our members are 50ish and older. There’s no upper age limit.

Our members can choose to attend events and meetups depending on their interests and capabilities. Being “active” isn’t limited to being able to play hours of pickleball or a few rounds of golf, but it does mean being curious and actively engaged with life.

No, you don’t need to be a member of Christ Church. We welcome all 50+ singles who share and honor our core values of love, kindness, and respect for each other.

If you are a member of another congregation, that’s great. If you are searching for a spiritual home, we are happy to help you explore the Christ Church community.

Even if you don’t have a formal faith tradition, but share our core values, we welcome you.

We strive to offer a wide variety of gatherings to suit diverse interests, from regular social gatherings to sports outings to meetups at popular entertainment and cultural venues. We also attend speaker events featuring top thought leaders. Finally, we find ways to give back to our community by coordinating with outreach activities at Christ Church as well as nonprofit organizations throughout our community.

Everyone pitches in. We host regular Planning Meetings to discuss our ideas for gatherings of all types - from casual meetups to organized group gatherings to more formal events.

We respect the privacy of all members and we do not offer a members’ directory. However, members may choose to share their contact info with other members on an individual basis.
