Cheryl brings a vibrancy and passion to Christ Church, inspiring and helping parishioners every day. As the devoted leader of Women’s Ministry, LGBTQAI+, and Pastoral Care, she is reaching new people interested in deepening their spirituality, learning more about Scripture, and finding new friendships with others. She regularly hosts gatherings including “Fire & Friends,” bible studies, workshops, and retreats.

Cheryl manages many of the day-to-day operations of the parish, providing oversight and administration of the spiritual formation programs for all ages, working in partnership with other staff, our spiritual formation committees and the Rector.

Cheryl holds a doctorate of education in “Leadership in Higher Education” and has spent 25 years as a professor of education at various institutions across the country. She has published extensively in the field of educational leadership and higher education and has presented at numerous conferences. Cheryl also has a gift for grant writing.
