The Choir of Men and Boys

Picture of Boys singingFounded in 1934, the Choir of Men and Boys serves as the principal choir for the 11.15am service each Sunday. The choir consists of boys from 2nd through 8th grade, professionals from the New York metropolitan area, and auditioned volunteers. In 2008 the Choir of Men and Boys traveled to England, where venues included St John’s College, Cambridge and St Paul’s Cathedral, London.

The St Cecilia Choir of Girls

Picture of girls singingThe St Cecilia Choir of Girls serves as the principal choir for the 9am service each Sunday. The choir consists of girls from 2nd grade through high school seniors. The St Cecilia Choir of Girls will travel to England for 12 days in July of 2010, singing services in Exeter Cathedral and St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.

The Canterbury Choir

The Canterbury Choir consists of mixed auditioned adults and teens, with professionals from the New York metropolitan area. It serves as the choir in residence when the boys and girls are away, and provides music for special services and concerts throughout the church year. In 2007 the Canterbury Choir traveled to England and Ireland, singing in Chester, Belfast and Dublin.

Christ Church Bell Choir

Christ Church Bell Choir performs at special services throughout the year on Sundays, and at special events and memorials.

Christ Church Compline Choir

Christ Church Compline Choir sings the ancient office of Compline every Sunday at 6pm. The choir is comprised of volunteers and also sings at occasional services throughout the year.
