Music

This season includes two new initiatives and an expansion of several others. Join us for a new series of Chamber Concerts to be held on Sunday afternoons. These concerts feature some of the top musicians from leading orchestras and professional ensembles across America. Each concert begins at 3pm and is followed by a reception. Admission is free, and the concerts are a gift to from Christ Church Greenwich to the local community.

Secondly, we look forward to welcoming some outstanding vocal ensembles to Angel Voices, a new series of choral concerts which aims to celebrate and share the glories of our great Anglican heritage. Choirs from Cambridge, London and New England will join us throughout the year.

Our Organ Recital Series is now in its fourth year. One unique aspect of this series is the projection of the soloist at the console onto a large screen at the front of the church, making it easy for all to see. Recitals take place at 7.30pm on the second Friday of each month, and admission is free.

Our Choral Evensong services are joined this year by High and Holy – a series of special midweek services designed to nourish the spirit with music, liturgy and word. These services are a valuable source of reflection and growth as well as providing the opportunity for some great music. Weekdays at 7.30pm. 

Finally, these concerts, recitals and special services would be nothing without you – the audiences and congregations which bless our music with vitality and give life to the church.
