Manager, Gift & Book Shop

Marijane joined the staff of Christ Church Greenwich 24 years ago.  She is responsible for researching, selecting, purchasing and pricing of all merchandise; maintaining inventory; initiate all marketing pieces for advertising and PR of bookstore; verify, code and approve all accounts payable and receivable; oversee all volunteer help; attend and buy at international gift shows, CBA and Religious Booksellers; liaise between the bookstore and the church office; arrange and coordinate all author signings; organize and implement an annual hand inventory; negotiate all consignments; responsible for all book fairs.

Marijane and her husband (deceased), Wirt, joined Christ Church Greenwich in 1963.  Two of their three children were baptized in this parish. Over the years she has helped with the youth group, taught church school, chaired the ECW, and was a member of the Vestry. She started the Bookstore 25 years ago in a closet across from the Parish Hall.
