Mission Statement

The mission of Christ Church Greenwich is to seek and serve God in all persons and to welcome all who desire a sacred home for worship, spiritual growth and community.

The mission of Christ Church Greenwich is inspired and strengthened by the love of God.  For 300 years, prayers have been offered at Christ Church, and the people of our parish have sought to serve God in Jesus Christ our Lord.  As an Episcopal community of faith, we provide a foundation for each of us to lead an active and purposeful Christian life.

Centered in the Town of Greenwich, Christ Church seeks to carry out its mission in the greater community and the world and to receive with gladness all who desire to participate in our Church life, whether for a few minutes or for a lifetime.  We open our doors to everyone — young, old, individuals, families, the poor, the sick, those looking for answers, and those looking simply for the love of Christ.  All are welcome here. 

We hope to provide a divine place for worship, a safe haven and a peaceful refuge.  Moreover, through our many ministries for children, youth and adults, which include Christian education, music and outreach programs, our community of faith can find fulfillment, serve Jesus Christ in all persons, know the joys of providing for others, celebrate the fellowship of humankind, and experience the love of God.
