The Exploration Series:

Join us this Sunday, September 25, 10:00 am in the Parish Hall, when The Exploration Series will present Ian Cron, Director of Courage & Faith: A Conversation, and former Pastor of Trinity Church. As well as serving as our guest preacher at the 9:00 am service, Ian will be teaching and signing his book, Chasing Francis: A Pilgrim’s Tale.

Next Sunday, October 4, First Sunday, The Exploration Series presents Nathan Dungan, founder and president of Share Save Spend®. For over 20 years, Nathan has been an industry thought-leader on helping youth and adults link their money decisions to their values. Nathan speaks and consults nationally with families and organizations about the topic of money and the effects of mass marketing on money habits.  Nathan is one of the national go-to experts on family finances.  He has been widely quoted in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Business Week and TIME magazine.

Ever wanted to join a book group?  Interested in history?  Love to read?  Curious? If so, you’ve been missing an opportunity:  EFM, the coed book group with a twist.  In Bible Study you learn what to believe and why;  EFM allows you to explore your faith through history, literature, shared experiences and lively discussions - it takes a global look at the world and life in general and, within the group discussions, applies it to every day life.  Worried about a four year commitment?  Don’t be - just think of it like a lease - you can renew it or not.  No educational criteria, no experience necessary, EFM is user friendly!  Our two classes, on Monday evenings at 6:30 pm (contact .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address), 914.935.9845), and on Thursday mornings at 9:00 am (contact .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)), are open to everyone - you can even bring a friend.  So sign up to have fun, make new friends, and explore your faith.

Bring a bagged lunch and join us for a new Bible study, Finding Our Way Out: Stories from the Book of Exodus, every Wednesday in the Family Room at 12 noon..  What possible relevance can an ancient book of stories have for our lives today? This fall, come discover the riches of the Book of Exodus with The Re’vd Dr. Jim Lemler and Trinity’s Scholar-in-Residence, The Rev’d Hillary Bercovici.  No RSVP needed—come to one or all sessions—through November 18.
